Question about Dryers
Unplug dryer , remove back panel and you will see a thermo link in about the middle of the back of dryer with a vom test continuity of the link this is a very common problem . if no continuity replace thermo kink . if it tests good remove access pane in front of dryer and turn the dryer on to a heat cycle, see if the ignitor coil gets red hot. if it doesn't then the ceramic coil is bad. these are the 2 most common problems with gas dryers. if still no good write back

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
