Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
The drain pump probably just needs cleaned. If you've never cleaned it i can direct you to videos that are step by step. Let me know.

Testimonial: "thank you was nice to receive support for my Whirlpool front loader washing machine. I did view some youtube videos, but then risked a hot (60deg)wash empty wash and it worked perfectly, then with trepidation did a quick wash (30 min)today 30 degrees with clothes and had no problems. I am not totally convinced that its fixed but so far so good. I did remove the filter x 3 and there was no obvious block but maybe the pump does need cleaning so will do more very hot washes."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

F09 is "overflow failure" - check drain pump, pressure switch, blocked drain.
FA is the emergency shutoff switch that detects when water is pooling underneath the machine.

Tips for a great answer:
Probably you have a clogged water pump clean it if not clogged then you have to know how to check if you have voltage to it, do so if you have 120 volts then it's your water pump http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-washer-drain-pump-280187-ap3953640.html
