Need to reset as it is stuck on ready in 1 hour which we did not press. Tried letting it run but still stuck and no washing.

Hello. I really need the model number and make of the unit to help you most accurately. From what you describe, it sounds like the control panel might be defective. Also, the main board could also be corrupted. Have you had a power outage recently--about 3-4 weeks ago or sooner? Outages are NOTORIOUS damaging digital boards in appliances. The fact that you didn't press anything might mean that a button on the panel is shorted. However, to try to reset the board, try removing power from the unit by flipping the associated breaker in your power panel to off for about 2 minutes. Turn it back on afterwards and see if the unit will start. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks!

Water will not drain. I did have a new garbage disposer installed a couple of days ago, but don't know enough about dishwashers to even see where it connects to the disposer.

Hi Ruthp53, I am JK. I see that you have installed a new garbage disposal and now are having problems with your dishwasher (model FGHD2433KF) draining. I would recommend checking for blockage at garbage disposal and the drain. Also, new garbage disposables normally have a plug that will need to be taken out.
Hope this helps!

Our Bosch model SHE44CO dishwasher run cycle has progressively increased. It now runs twice as long as it once did. Help????

Hello,

Based on your description I'd say the issue is with the control. Bosch has had a history of this exact problem I'm about to lay out for you and this is the first thing I'd be looking for if called out to service the unit with the symptoms you've described.

As I've alluded to the issue is likely within the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ).

My first suggestion would be calling in an authorized bosch servicer if that is an option for you and your budget however, If you feel capable of checking this on your own, there`s a way to visually inspect the control yourself.

It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit sit`s and takes longer & longer to finish because it can`t heat to advance or unless the 2 buttons for "cancel" are pressed.

**My Opinion - if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...but it has to be done well...or it will not last, although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**

**Please disconnect the power or turn off the breaker before attempting any service to the dishwasher.**

If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau/Siemens, to service your machine.**

Hope this answer`s your question, let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank`s for visiting "FixYa" for your repair inquiries. Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness.

Good luck.

I need to look at bosch SHU5312UC exploded viewe of the door

Hello,

I think I know the pieces you are referring to and you can only install them one way. I can direct you to searspartsdirect.com and if you enter your model number you should have access to several breakdown illustrations of your d/w however, I`m here to tell you, don`t sweat it. Most illustration`s I`ve seen don`t even show them either.

Those two blocks ( which slide into the front of the hinge behind the door panel by the way ) can remain left out without any functional consequence to your dishwasher. In fact the regional training representative for north america used to joke with us techs how he had a collection of them from tossing them into his toolbox instead of putting them back in place. They do increase the structural support of the front panel, but unless you plan on moving it around frequently, I wouldn`t worry about it.

If you are still concerned, post back with your email and I can send you a complete repair guide in "pdf" format for your dishwasher.

Hope this was helpful to you. Thank you for coming to "fixya" and please let me know if I/we can assist you further in this matter. Please take a moment and rate the info I provided for you here today.

Good luck.

My vulcan dishlex e500 is not pumping out water. Water is going in but then seems to overflow and leak out of machine. Cheers for any help.

Firstly correct model would help,500E is only the series; but from what you describe a number of faults could prevail: "1" the breather on the air dome could be blocked. "2" faulty pressure switch."3" faulty restrictor in p/switch tube:All these potential problems are not easily rectified by unskilled persons and you could make things a lot worse, which would be a shame as the 500E is an excellent machine(one of the best ever built) To rectify these problems is difficult enough even for a professional technician like myself. The dishwasher did not drain.

Hi there,

You need to check the water valves and the inlet hose. Water valves as described in the owner manual for cleaning and maintenance, should be open fully and inlet hose is kinked. Clean them and let me know the results.

Also checkout the drain pump if not get clogged. This can be cleaned as described in the operating instructions.

Use the good quality detergent and clean it periodically.

Let me know if you face any difficulty or need further assistance I will help you out.

Ellin

From what you are describing, the fill valve may have failed or become clogged. Start the dishwasher, when the water stops filling, open the door and check the water level. There should be at least an inch to an inch of water in the center of the tub. If not, replace the water inlet valve.

If you need further assistance, let me know with a model number
