My DEHUMIDIFIER shows check-red light

well you didnt mention model but most times this occurs on dehumidifyers it means the bucket full sensor has tripped , this does not mean that bucket is full, it just means that bucket is either not seated all the way in or maybe the sensor has moved in the bucket and no longer hits the sensor as it should , try reposisioning the bucket and full sensor , ck for looseness

The humidity control stopped working. The unit does run at 100% only

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

You can get a new sensor here:
Thermistor PN: 6877A30013R other diagrams it is called a sensor assembly

Here is something to consider.... changing this part SHOULD fix the dehumidfier. However, if there is a problem on the control board it can give you the impression the sensor assembly is bad. 85% of the time it is the sensor that has failed.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Unit will not run. E2 on display. controls do not work.

All I found it E 2 is the issue with sensor.
You can shutdown unit for an hour, turn it back on to see if the code is gone
if not. I
If not, try to troubleshooting sensor using the link below
If still not working, you might need to replace it. How old is yours?
You can find part by searching for it online
Good luck and let me know if I can further help.

E1 code for the primary humidity sensor behind right side grill. Unit MUST be unplugged from outlet. Take right side grill out, unplug sensor from wire socket and plug back. If no help, you need new sensor.

My dehumidifier is giving me a F2 error message and isn't running

When I searched this error code, I found that F-2 means bad sensor. I found no further information as to what sensor it was. You don't give the name of the manufacturer, so I couldn't search from that perspective.

If it is a bad sensor, you may require professional repair.

Before I took it anywhere to be worked on, I would be certain that the catch bucket was setting square (indicating no water in the bucket).

M7dh65b2a dehumidifier is icing up

The clip that holds the sensor also rusted out on my M7DH65B2A (Rev-A-R) last year. How to reinstall the sensor with no clip? I used a pair of pliers to crimp/squeeze the sensor a bit. This makes it thin enough so that it could be positioned between a pair of coils, using a pair of pliers. I don't think this has ruined the sensor as the unit generally works well, except when room temperature drops into the low 60's farenheit. Best of luck.

I have a LG model LHD65EBL that first started icing up along the top edge during humid days. After several months of this, it finally stopped working and displayed CH01 with the bucket full indicator flashing.

I took apart the dehumidifier, removed the temperature sensor from the coil and rubbed it between my fingers. I then plugged in the unit and it started right up, confirming either a sensor or other circuit problem related to that sensor. For my model unit, I ordered sensor assembly #6877A30013L from for $21.75 + shipping.

When I received the assembly, I measured the new and old sensor with an ohm meter: new sensor = 5.5KOhms, old, defective sensor = 5.34KOhms. I installed the new sensor assembly and the unit is working fine.

Just because the bucket full indicator is flashing along with an error code does not mean there is a problem with the bucket full switch.
