Question about Olympus Camedia D-390 Digital Camera

Can take one picture...then screen turns black

My camera turns on fine. i can see what i am trying to take a picture of. then i take the picture....then i try to take another picture, and i cant see anything except the white lettering,the box to aim, i can see the menu come up, i can view my pictures...everything else i can see....just not what i want to take a pic of. when i shut off my camera and wait about 10 mins....i can attempt to take another sometimes when i turn it back might still be black, and i have to wait a little longer...i dont think my camera likes me!!! is this a simple prob? or does the company need to fix?!!! please help me!!!

Camera screen is black no image appears to view to take a picture??

Time for a new camera perhaps ? Sreen is faulty, most likely and fixing may be too expensive.

The screen is black. And pictures turn out black.

Hi there your lcd screen is fine but the Chances or damaged are lens or sensor of lens or circuitbord disconnect from the lens sensor. All cases you need to visit service center. Thanks.

look ur CCD is BAD !!

just call Kodak i am sure they will doit Free becoz it is a manufac fault all manufacturers are doing it Freejust call them and ask them about BAD CCD !!

Try cycling through the Display button until you're able to view photo to be taken.

Was the camera turned off, it must be turned on and set to USB to PC in settings menu.

1) Try pressing the DISP button
2) If this does not work, this signals the machine is in need of service.

Panasonic digital camera has black screen

CCD sensor faulty especially if you can play back pictures that were captured properly, but have a blank screen in capture mode. Replace sensor and camera will work fine.

Black Screen When Open, but the Picture quality is fine

in the lower right hand corner there is a button that has disp. on it just click that during picture taking mode and it will return to normal
