Does your anti-virus program is able to find any viruses or threats? Have you tried on-line scanners then instead? For example"

    http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

    http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

    or similar

Sometime the best sollution is to backup all your important data (to flash drive, CD, DVD,...) and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows

Once in Safe Mode with networking see if the PC hangs on you.

open you Internet and download MalwareBytes to help remove any Malware that might be hanging you computer in normal mode

It frequently hangs and slows dow but left for 10 min it will recover

Download a utility programme called asc-setup from IObit.com THis is a freeware utility that will repair your registry errors and much more if you purchase the whole system.
When you have run it go to toshiba.com and download the latest drivers.
That will sort your problems out for you.

Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 PC Notebook in battery the set is OK but when I connected ac power the set is hang on or restarted frequently

you should have your unit check professionally, as it can be cause by multiple problem.

1. laptop fan
2. memory problem
3. voltage problem.

either way, its best that you try to have it check thru the toshiba service center.

My Toshiba laptop hangs in 2 -3 mins of starting

Ok at boot up press F8, when the Menu comes up, choose Safe Mode, but this time instead of going to the desktop, choose System Restore, follow instructions, and when the Calender type window comes up, simply choose a time BEFORE, the time it went faulty. This should completely restore you to working again. As long as there are NO other problems.

My Toshiba Satellite PC hangs when I insert any USB device

To reinstall USB drivers, you need to reinstall the system, as USB root hub drivers are built in on Windows.

Tray first removing laptop battery and unplugging AC charger for ten or fifteen minutes, this will get rid of static charges that can cause USB not to work.

If that does not solve the problem then you need to reinstall Windows, in this case, try a system restore first.

If all that still does not work, then there is an hardware fault, in that case you often need to replace the motherboard.
