Pro Line mic stand

In most of these stands, there is a nylon ring (similar to a PVC plumbing connector). In cases where it may have been over-tightened in the past, the ring may lose its ability to "lock" onto the tube that runs through the middle. Disassemble the unit, and look for any cracks in the ring or the grip. Cracks in the grip can cause this to fail as well. Good luck! :)

Mackie 402 turning itself off help please!

You should return it, that's what the warranty is for. Don't even think about trying to sort it yourself

Does any one make a carry bag or soft case for transporting the ProLine PL-400. The stand measures around 54" x 16" x (7-8)". I would like to have a case that I can use when I go to a hotel...

I have never seen a carrying case for these offered anyplace... they can be a pain to handle. You MIGHT try to get someone to make a heavy duty cardboard box to carry it in. These are a heavy duty stand... making almost any hard case would triple the weight. They custom make cases for mixers but that type would weigh about 50 pounds for the case alone. If I were making one, I would do it something like the mic/speaker stand cases are with a zipper down the opening. Maybe use canvas... but DO use a heavy zipper... getting the "ears" in and out of a duffle bag would certainly be frustrating to the max.

I have the PL400 stand and cannot open it. there is the long pin but it won't budge, Can you help

The pins can be sticky. You squeeze the pin extending out upward toward the top cross member to release the catch. I have one of these and they work nice. The pin (cushioned) that extends out is a handle that moves in a slot that pulls a rod through the tube to pull the index pin at the disk with the slots in it. These work easy but pull back on the pin before putting any force to open the unit.

Proline Piano Keyboard Stand Assembly Hi, I just bought a Proline piano stand for an electronic keyboard, and the first step on the assembly directions is to move the clutch to the middle position....

Normally on my stand like this you PULL the knob outward (not turn it) to disengage the pin from the plate with the holes in it... Works quite well and the stand is moree stable than many.

My new barrington 402 tenor saxophone has middle c and b out of tune (flat). Everything else seems to be pretty close. Can you do anything to improve these notes?

Try playing low B and low C up an 8ve by overblowing without the use of the 8ve key. Then quickly switch your fingering to middle B and C. Compare the intonation of the low and middle notes. Then play middle B and using your other hand slightly depress the lowBb key cup. Did the note flatten or sharpen. Try depressing both low B and Bb the same way. You may have to add a longer bumper felt or cut some of the length off the bumper felts of these two keys. Also experiment with the Low C key height. Try the G key height also. On some saxophones the position of the tone holes were miscalculated and there is not enough or too little distance between them. In any case you may have to take the sax to an expert saxophone repairman. Have a look on this site for more info:http://forum.saxontheweb.net/archive/index.php/t-9082.html Use the search function to find more info than the page I recommended.

My crown amp (model xls 402) lost sound and the fault light came on

Chances are you have a failure in the final amp stage.

Check the voltage on the buss where the output transistors merge via the equalizing resistors. The voltage here should be very near zero.
