Canon i9950 inkjet printer, keeps showing paper jam even though nothing there. If I turn it off and on, it prints anything from 1 to 4 pages before error message paper jam again. Just going round in...

Maybe it's just one small paper.
If it's on guarantee, take it to store, and describe the problem like this:

"Cant print. Don't know whats going on!"

So they don't charge you ;)

If it's out of guarantee, try to open all parts until you see the small paper.

Or it could be the sensor (piece of plastic) that was jammed, or get jammed when paper pass. Take a good look on that too.

Paper feeds crooked into the printer

Check the adjustments for the paper your using. Open the printer and look on the rollers you'll probably find paper or an obstruction clear it and also clean then rubber moving parts with isopropyl alcohol to give them their grip back.

My printer suddenly stops printing then it says paper jammed even it isnt... i try not to load paper but still that message appears.

the paper sensor pin is jammed up in sensor so it detects that the paper is still there.even though its not there.get the printer serviced so that the sensor moves freely.this will solve the problem. please do not forget to rate the solution.thanks

Canon MP470 says "paper is jammed" but there is no jam

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Printer will not print 4X6" pictures.

Loading index cards, post cards, and 4 x 6-inch photo paper Remove the paper output tray and all paper from the paper supply tray. Slide a stack of cards into the paper supply tray until they stop. Make sure the print side is face down. Adjust the paper-width guide against the cards, and then slide the paper-length guide in until it stops. Make sure the cards fit within the tray (do not overload it), and then reinstall the paper output tray. Figure 3: Loading a stack of cards 80455c3.jpg
