Question about Sony VPL-CS7 Multimedia Projector
I have opened the the optic block to clean all the dust from the polarizers and pre polarizers, but my cat touched it and all off the glasses(polarizers and pre-polarizers) went out of place. i just wanted to see a schematic(not the service manual, i saw already and it has all the glasses there but it does not specify the colors,) all i needed was a image with the glasses and the name of them that says in the service manual(page45). thank you

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

does the "lamp/cover"-led light up? i had the same thing happening, the lamp either broke or is about to break and the projektor won't turn it on again to protect itself. if its very urgent, open the projector pull the lamp out and put it in again, it might work for 1 or 2 more times, but it is very likely to explode (usually not breaking the projector but for sure not good for it).

reset the settings to factory default and change your cable. if that doesn't help, the polarizer filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. the optical engine will need to be replaced.
