I also have this problem, my laptop has a wireless switch on the front of it next to the volume control so I presumed that it had wireless? Am I wrong as I cannot find the wireless network in network connections.

You did mention what model A10 you have. Should say A10-S507 or something like that. Most A10 series do not have wireless but the newer dual core do have it. Please Clarify and I may be of assistance.

Basically they don't. They can be purchased and easily installed by opening the cover that contains it and inserting it just like inserting memory and then connecting the white and grey wires to the wireless card.

Be very careful when connecting the 2 wires( often white and grey). The connection if you have big fingers is fiddly. There is an on off switch underneath at the front left that needs to be set to on once you have installed your wireless mini card. A light will come on to show that the WIFI is on. It is straight forward to do. I have done this on 2 A10 laptops. I have seen many of these cards on EBay.

Have Toshiba A10. Installed a proper wireless card. Set sees wireless but never wants to connect. Think it is driver problem but have the right driver so not sure what the issue is.

In network card setting there should be a choice to let windows configure the wireless connection or do you have a protected wireless network?

          Wont conect to internet

do you have an internal wireless adapter? Is the switch switched to on? Are you close enough to the wireless router. Do you have the right security code selected for connection to router? I would try resetting router and modem if the above is not the problem.
