Depending on what caused the burn spot. It is possible to solder a bridge or jump wire from the point on the board that is not damaged and follow the trace or film connection to the next point that is to connect the two points. Other wise find a solder point on one side of the burn and if you can follow the path to the next solder point, use a jumper wire and solder each connection bridging over the burn. Wire has to be insulated. Some burn spots are caused by poor factory dipping of the board, and the solder loses connection over time from heat etc.

Funai magnavox model#37md359b-7 when turned on for amp fuse blows on circuit board

Could be 100 things. Do you see any burnt components or burnt spots on the board? Probably no way for you to fix this unless you have the electronics repair skills unless you visually spot a short on the board like a loose screw that ended up laying on a couple of components etc.

I have a RCA d52w20 that's giving me a 3d affect

The part if near the flyback will kill the convergence adjustment being seen in the menu.

Set has issues (three similar parts) for bad solder connections at the flyback and a kit is available for the protect part (includes that part and a filter cap and diode with instructions-----------

Not a easy set to work on in many ways............

Smells like it is burning when plugged in to the outlet

either the flyback or the CL031 box capacitor in front of the flyback has burnt a hole through the deflection board.

On what board is the convergence fuse on a ITC222. Have the Convergence Power Supply board out and cannot spot it.

The fuse for the convergance power supply most likly is not your problem, go to the board below it, the deflection board and neer the flyback you will find three small fuses the one in the center is the most common problem with convergance and this also can be cused by the pins for the flyback comming unsoldered

Our GE Arctica PSS27NHN has gone out. We took a look inside and found the motherboard has a burnt spot, so that is most likely our problem. Can anyone tell me if this model is on the recall list. I have...

No recall list that I know of .G E now has 2 boards available . The pt# you need is WR55X10656 . Less problems than a board for each model .

Turn off by it,s self

Just took a look at one of these, and its cold soldering joints on the main board. I re-soldered all the solder joints around the flyback transformer and a few other suspicious looking spots (didn't note where those spots were). Took maybe about 30-45 minutes and now the set is running great. This would cost you about 70-100 dollars at a TV repair shop. No parts required unless the protection circuits didn't kick in and burned out a component someplace.
