If a DNS error is showing, the web site you are visiting is having a problem. It happens with the best of sites. If you are asking for a way to stop Google's suggestions there is a way to do that as well but Google is not the cause of the DNS error.

404 not found

The 404 or Not Found error message is a HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the server could not find what was requested.

The web site hosting server will typically generate "404 - Not Found" web page, when users attempts to follow a broken or dead link, hence the 404 error is one of the most recognizable errors users can find on the web.

A 404 error should not be confused with "server not found" or similar errors, in which a connection to the destination server could not be made at all. A 404 error indicates that the requested resource may be available again in the future; however, the fact does not guarantee the same content.

Go to your network settings (start>network connections) right click on Lan if using wired, wireless if using wireless then go to properties highlight TCP/IP and click properties Specify DNS address manually and put in 8.8.8.8 hit apply and ok *DO NOT ADJUST IP* leave it at obtain automatically then hit ok all the way out try to load the websites again

Hii wenever im trying to go on facebook site www.facebook.com this is what appears : Oops! This link appears broken.DNS error occurred. Server cannot be found. I cannot open facebook site at all....

Hi, are you following a link in an email, typing it it by hand, or relying on a link in your browser?
A, The link may be broken (it's mispelled, or taking you somewhere else);
B, It may be that you've miss-spelled it;
C, The link may have cookies disabled. (some sites require cookies to be enabled on your computer).
D, go via link for more info:- http://www.buzzle.com/articles/dns-error.html

A, - ignore this;
B, double check;
C, go into your "tools", internet options, browsing history, and click on "delete". This will clear ALL your history, including saved passwords on sites that you use regularly - BE WARNED!!! Try Facebook again.
D, do what the link says (technical stuff)...

IF, however you are trying from certain computers (like at work / libraries), they may have excluded Facebook / Myspace / Twitter etc from being accessed, due to possible virus infections.

Alot of times when i open some sites like "youtube

The internet uses something called DNS. It is similar to a phonebook for the internet, except instead of referencing people to phone numbers, it references IP addresses to webpages.
This error means that someone has purposely removed Facebook and Youtube from the listings in that "book" If you are at a school or workplace, you probably won't be able to fix this without help from a system administrator.
If at home, my suggestion would be to try another DNS Server, or "book".
This webpage explains how to set up an alternative DNS Server

Cannot sign in Facebook

i guess ur using a licensed and updated antivirus (i prefer avg/kaspersky)..!!
this is a common problem now days, probably itz caused by a virus/trojan..

download microsoft kb890830, install n run

also possibilities of:
u may not hv java runtime/adobe flash player/shockwave player installed..
the windows firewall is limiting the site..
may b ur antivirus is doing so..
some spyware/trojan horse may b playing foul..
sometime it also depends upon the browser u r using..
may b it is black-listed or restricted by using 'content advisor' (in case of internet explorer) in ur computer by some user or the above..
may b it is being filtered by the 'phishing filter'..
there may b possibilities that the site may contain 'active content'..

contact ur system admin/vendor for more details....

Unable to access web address

if you are using google chrome! then try cleaning the cache first! if it does not works enter the url in the address bar then while it is opening the site press stop button or the "Esc" key on the keyboard and then press "Ctrl+F5", you can also try this on Internet explorer and fire fox. hope that solves your problem! there is no problem with the site the site is online...

Oops! This link appears broken.DNS error - cannot find server.

Click START. Go to RUN. Type in Command. Then OK. When command box appears type after existing text: ipconfig /flushdns (exactly as here). Click ENTER.

Now restart your PC, and reset your router if you have one.

Your dns cache has a corrupt entry for the site you are trying to reach. If you want to see the difference go ipconfig /displaydns before and after flushdns.

Don't ask me how the corruption occurs. I only know it seems to happen when you leave yourself logged in to a site for an extended period during which for some reason your internet connexion fails. But this is only circumstantial evidence.
