Hi, I've just bought a FSA-L1 to fit to my scope and find that it is two male conections and the sizes are not compatible any ideas. Please help.

Great, I've taken your advice and am waiting for Nikon to come back to me. I've had a good look at the scope and there is no wat the fsa-1 will fit. I do think that there must be an adapter to change the ring sizes.

I did a little research for you. Check your manual but I think your "eye piece" has a 12.5mm thread into the body of the scope. The FSA-L1 has a 15.2mm thread which goes in the place of and replaces the eye piece for the models it fits. Check that manual too. If you have calipers you can verify it too by measuring the male thread of each. What you need if you can find it is a 12.5mm (male) to 15.2mm (female)adapter. Becareful it doesn't change the focal length. Check with photo shops or on-line. I'll do a quick search too and repost if I find one.

I looked for you but sorry to say I could find an adapter. I think going to a large photo shop supplier they will lead you to right place. Wish I had a magic answer.

I think you have two other possible choices. One: go to Nikon an ask for the adapter, seeing you spent a lot of money with them, or two: take your scope and FSA-L1 to any machine shop and have an adapter made. It's about an hour job at their shop rate maybe less if the guy's decent. Make it out of "free running Brass" or even any 300 SS. Paint the inside with flat black to prevent reflections. But like I indicated before the "focal length" is critical. That has to be calculated. And I would not have the body machined out to the right size. You risk damaging the scope.

Wish I could of helped you more.

I have a FSA force light 2x9 crank and want to know which front and rear derailler as well as cassette and chain would be a best fit for this crank

The front derailleur would be any that matches closely to the size of the chainrings and the difference between them.

Ditto for the rear. All 9-speed cassettes and chains will work, depending on what brand your cassette body is. Your gear ranges and selections are up to you and your legs. A little web searching answers a lot of questions.

Lots of "how to's ..." out there.

What kind of freon does my 02 sebring limited convetible use

There is a simple way to tell. If the line conections have a male outside threaded bung, then it is R-12. If the conection resembles an air chuck fitting, then it is r-122

Male fitting on heater core inlet broke off in hose

RKmastertech is incorrect. That plastic fitting is seperate from the aluminum heater core and can be removed by means of a special quick disconnect tool, like OTC 6046. Rock auto has the fitting for $5 plus shipping, just for a reference.
