SOURCE: my printer is showing up on the network. when I

From what I can tell it looks like this printer does not have built-in wireless networking. I believe you still should be able to print wirelessly, but you would need it connected to a computer via USB to maintain the connection.
Connect the printer to the computer that will stay on and share the printer on your network (this computer must be on your wireless network). Go to start menu>printers (win7 says "devices & printers). Right click on the printer you want to share and click "printer properties". Click on the tab that says "sharing". Check the box to share the printer on the network and name it whatever you want.
Now go to the computer you want to print wirelessly. Go to printers again then "add a printer". You should see an option for adding a local printer or a network printer. Choose a network printer and it should search your network and find the printer.

Printer doesn't respond via USB only WiFi

As my helper partner states, I quite agree but I would also use a different USB which the one you're using might be damaged, use another USB station cause maybe its also damaged. But if it states that the printer is will never print because its not selected as your active Printer. Actually you are sending the printing jobs to that printer wich is not active or recognized.

Reset ESI 2833 until red light turned green. Network Printer still not responding

Check the IP Address of the 2833. I believe there is a gray button you can depress to print out a configuration sheet. If the wireless modem was also your router, you may have a different IP address range and will need to set the 2833 accordingly.

I have a wireless printer and it won't connect. I tried text sopport for the printer and was told that the router needs to be insinck to the mac address . I would like to know if you could tell me how to...

Setting up wireless printers can be such a hassle!
The quickest solution is to let the router sync the mac address itself, don't worry about the details of it all. Easiest way is to start wired, before you go wireless.
When setting up the printer to work with that wireless router, hook your printer up directly to the router/computer the router is connected to. This will allow for the printer/router to recognize each other and establish a connection. Then, when you use a wireless connection (wireless on laptop/ on printer also), they will recognize each other and you'll be able to connect.
This is much less of a hassle than trying to set up wirelessly.
Best of luck!

The wireless canon printer is not responding to the computer.

This means that your system does not display any printer name under the printer's list even though you would have installed your wireless printer on your Windows Vista system. This could be caused if you have not updated printer drivers in your system or the printer is incompatible with Windows Vista. Also see if the Windows firewall is blocking the printer from being recognized by your system.
