Question about HP LaserJet P2015 Printer

When i switch on my P2015 printer uper three lights come on and printer do come in ready mode. Sir can you give me any solution of this problem

    I believe have the same problem as raja_saji. There are four lights on w/ no blinking;
    - paperjam (amber)
    - toner (amber)
    - attention (amber)
    - ready (green)


    They are on from the instant the printer is powered on.
    I cannot communicate or print to the printer.

    Jam, Toner, Paper LEDs on but not flashing.

Hi,
May be cable loose or heavy dust available in printer that`s why your printer not proper response it. Or may be printer main board damage position so i suggest you contact it printer technician or checking it, which area damage.

I am unable to reset the admin password on a company printer HP laserjet p2015dn. I treid doing a cold reset by holding the go button while restarting the printer for about 10 seconds and the configuration...


Try to change the password over the network by tyoing the assigned IP address into your browser URL. If you can see the P2015, you should ba able to find the place to change or disable the admin password. If not, perform a Super NVRAM Initialzation:

  1. Turn off the HP Laserjet P2015 Printer.
  2. Press and hold the Go button.
  3. Turn on the printer and continue to hold the Go button for at least 50 seconds. During this process, the Attention, Ready, Go lights turn on. Then the Attention and Ready lights turn off,leaving only the Go light illuminated.
  4. Release the Go button. The Go, Ready and Attention lights turn on.
  5. Press and hold the Go button. All lights turn off. During the next three seconds, the Go, Ready and Attention lights turn on in that order, one per second.
  6. Release the Go button to perform the initialization. The control panel lights begin cycling from front to back. After the Super NVRAM initialization process is complete, the printer returns to the ready state.

Led on problem after half wormmingup


Hi,
Take the Tray 2 out and check if all the paper guides are moving freely if they are than remove the toner cartridge and check if any toner sensor is not align correctly.
If they are aligned correctly than next to the pickup roller there is a small piece of plastic make sure it should be hanging freely if it is than we need to perform cold reset of the printer.
Switch off the printer press and hold down the go button and switch the printer on keep holding down go button till the time three lights lit up on control panel, as soon as three lights lits up release the go button and let the printer initialise of it s own.
If that doesn't fix than Formatter Board of the printer is faulty.
Logic:
If there is no paper jam and printer rep[orts the jam means either any of the sensors is not aligned correctly and reporting the jam or formatter Board(Motherboard) of the printer is faulty and showing incorrect display.

HP P2015 Has Paper LED Solid Lit. Will not go off. Help!


Hello,

It seems that none of the printer's sensor is faulty, in fact, the printer has a faulty firmware on the formatter.

Your printer may need replacement of the formatter board, however, please try the following before swapping the formatter.

HP LaserJet P2015 Printer Series - Paper Jam Light Solid ISSUE: The HP LaserJet P2015 may come up with Paper Jam Light solid and would show the same light pattern even if the printer is power cycled.
SOLUTION: The Light pattern is as shown in the diagram below.

Perform the following tasks in the order listed.
1. Reset the printer using the Super NVRAM initialization. The procedure is
a. Turn off the printer
b. Press and hold the GO button
c. Turn on the printer and continue to hold the Go button for at least 50 seconds. During this process the Attention, Ready and Go light turns on. Then the Attention and Ready light turns off, leaving just the Go light illuminated.
d. Release the Go button. The Go, Attention and Ready lights turn on.
e. Press and hold the Go button. All lights turn off. During the next three seconds, the Go, Ready and Attention lights turn on in that order, one per second.
f. Release the Go button to perform the initialization. The control panel lights begin cycling from front to back. After the Super NVRAM initialization process is complete, the printer returns to the ready state.
2.Unplug the power cord when the printer is on and leave it unplugged for 10 Seconds.
3. Turn the printer back on.
If the above steps resolve the issue, then print a configuration page and check the firmware version and the formatter board no.,
If the firmware version is below: 20080312, then your printer needs to upgrade the firmware, however the firmware can be upgraded only onl those models whole formatter board's third number from left is 0, 1 or 2, eg: JK0xxxx

If the 3rd number from left of the formatter board no is anything other than 0, 1, 2, then firmware cannot be flashed.

Please let me know the next update.
