What is the Service Tag of your PC? It will be on the bottom of the computer. Most D610 did not have Bluetooth, but some had a built-in wireless card. To turn on the wireless card, press the 'Fn' key + the 'F2' key. The F2 will have a small blue radio tower icon.
If you can return the service tag, I'll check to see how it shipped.

If the D610 works when attached to the AC Power Cord, it is likely that your battery is not capable of taking a charge and needs to be replaced. I have 2 D610 Dell Latitudes and they are very good laptops. Please vote if my information is helpful or not. Recommend me. Thanks UAW 974
1. go to the Dell support site and use your pc id to get to the user manual and download it It will guide you as to how to use the blue tooth properly. You may need the latest drivers downloaded to your pc to get the blue tooth to work properly.
Hi
The D610 does not by default have bluetooth it does have an icon for bluetooth on the mold if your system does have bluetooth the dell web sight has drivers and software to install and set up the use also with you are using windows XP SP2 has some bluethooth options you can enable in windows control panel
If you are running XP the bluetooth card is not detected automatically.
You will need to download and install the Bluetooth driver for the card that you have.
You will need to know which bluetooth adapter card you have as there are different models for the D610 such as 355, 350 etc
