Did u try different applications like notepad, word, emails, is it same everywhere??

1) control panel - > keyboard. change settings.
2) control panel - > Accessbility Options. disable sticky options.
3) run - > cmd -> sfc /scannow (Run system file checker)
4) Delete all temporary files in TEMP folder.

I would try to first check to see if you have any other programs running in the background. I have the same laptop and the same issue, and when I check the task manager sure enough AVG is doing a deep scan. Try disabling your antivirus.
