Question about Bamix Deluxe Handheld Blender
The outer shaft is loose and rotates slightly while the inner shaft which holds the blades rotates at speed. The outer shaft also slips up and down by about quarter inch from main motor housing casing. Tried dismantling unit - removed 4 screws on top plate to reveal wiring but nothing else. Then found what I thought were 2 small plastic discs that covered screwheads on either side of the toggle switch. These discs did not pry off - instead they swivelled but did not reveal any screws! What are these, and how can I separate the shaft from the unit to see if it can be tightened / repaired in some way?
Those small plastig bungs do come out, you will need a fine probe to prise them out then you will see 2 philips head screws which hold it all together, not sure how you will tighten your shaft though, looks like it might be moulded into the plastic retainer, good luck! on mine the motor bearings are seized,
