I have a Tissot 1853 Model No:T52148131, I want to know what battery type to use, because I lost the old one?

Sorry I can't directly answer your question.

There are a limited number of batteries that fit watches and the quality of the battery is the most important to provide a good lifespan and be less likely to leak.

Anyone who regularly replaces watch batteries will instantly know which type fits so I suggest you visit your local friendly watch and clock repairer who will fit a quality battery and replace the O ring if needed and all for a nominal fee.
If local traders aren't used they will be lost.

Hi, there. I just purchased a Tissot PRC 17158652 from Amazon.com, brand new. It is running 10 minutes slow every hour. (I have only had this watch for 2 days). Should I return it? Or is there...

Amazon is the selling place for fakes. Take it to a local Tissot dealer or jeweler for verification. It sound like it says Tissot on the outside but says 'made in China on the inside. They will do that for you for no cost. Tissot are a great Swiss timepiece and should be accurate to a minute a month. If it is a Tissot, they calibrate using a gadget that listens to the ticks. They will keep it 24 hours.

My Chinese made Rolex gained 30 minutes a day. I see a pattern :>)

Touch only works on some functions now . centre touch does not work at all and thermo does not work, cant get the date of course

If you have had the watch some time then the battery might be running down.

Go to a watch shop and have the battery replaced. If this does not solve the problem, then you may have to take it to a Tissot dealer or send it to a repair depot.

If you need to look for a dealer, one can be found by going to the Tissot web site "www.tissot.ch", from the menu at the bottom of the page select "stores" and fill in your details.

Tissot PRS 200 cannot reset counter hand (the counter stuck especially in the morning)

The owners manual mentions how to fix this but the instructions are not 100% clear. You can download the PRS200 manual here:
http://www.tissot.ch/data/usersmanual/134-en.pdf

Each of the 3 chrono hands are reset separately. Unscrew the crown and pull it all the way out (2 stops out). Press button A (top right) as many times as necessary until the hand is on the 30. Each press moves the hand one tick so you may need to press it several times.

Next push in the crown one click.
Press button B (bottom right) as many times as necessary to advance the 60 second hand to 12'oclock.
Press button A to advance the 1/10th hand to 0.

The part I did not get at first is the fact that you need to press the A and B buttons several times to advance each hand 1 tick at a time until they are all pointing to 12'oclock.
