Question about Acer Aspire 5720 Notebook
It says that I shouls start windows in repair mode so I do it then attempts to repair,, restarts and then does the exact same again.
Takes about 15 minutes everytime it does it.
I'm very dense about computers! I've had this laptop for 2 months. Please help!!
You don't need to reinstall the OS. You just need to go into the repair mode from the boot menu, which is a bit like running safe mode. It will reconfigure and restore a few things and the problem will go. It won't stop any programs from running. I had the same problem and it was good at fixing it. It fixed it and quite fast as well. I have unfortunately just started the instant power off problem again, which was the start of this same problem. So I will need to do another repair again.
