Re: Suddent Freeze....

Q: when the "system suddenly Freeze"...was the display working then? If not, then re-seat the video card. Also, re-seat the memory modules into their connectors.

My desktop freezes when im running a program most of the time in my windows 7. there is no blue screen or any error. the pc just stops responding the mouse doesnt move. i dont have a choice but to restart...

Windows 7 is a slightly heavy (lighter than vista though) operating system (OS),
so it tends to freeze on computers with low specifications.
You can free up some disk space by deleting the old windows files, thats if you had an OS before Windows 7 previously installed, you can also delete unnecessary files that you dont need.

If your pc has low specs, and you were originally using Windows XP, the best solution would be to go back to Windows XP

System freezes up

Check whether you motherboard heat sink is working properly or not. If u find more dust on the heat sink and the processor unit remove it with a brush and then check the RAM slot, If you have the RAM working properly then the problem is solved. If the RAM is making the trouble to hang try to replace it with another RAM with the same frequency. This will work out.
