Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Whenever I start it up it stays black but I can still move the keys around and here the sounds so I do not think it is bricked, the light turns green when I turn it off. It occasionally works perfectly (as in normal) It has been dropped quite a bit AFTER the problem started. It also somethings turns a statically blue. sounds and everything work.
I think your graphic card or motherboard has been broken, try to get a replacement

Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at email@example.com
