Re: Forgot both passwords satelite a 105 Toshiba what do...
If you have some data on your pc formatting it will erase all data on the drive the operating system resides. Thus formatting will not be a good solution. However if you have Hiren's Bootcd you can boot from that cd and from the tools enlisted use the password removal tool and you are done.

if you are talking about the user password that prompts you when you log in to windows...(and you do not know it ) just reinstall the password...if you know the password and want to remove it ...go to control panel ...user accounts ..press the admin account you are logged in ...and after that click remove password... But I repeat ..if it is the user password and you do not know it ..and it boots until the password prompt in windows...than the only options is to reinstall ...If you have another user with admin rights on it ..you can remove the other account from user accounts also ...
Restart your Laptop and press F8 as soon as logo displays and go to safe mode. There you will get a warning message and click on Yes. Then Press ALT+CTRL+DELETE and enter user name as Administrator and log in without entering password. It will log in. Normally Admin accounts does not have passwords. If its not working please revert. we will send the software to break the passwords.Hope this helps!
Restart in safe mode (F8 after boot) and log in as administrator providing the administator's password that you entered when you installed the operating system. Then go to control panel and modify your user login password or create a new user account for yourself. But if it is the passord on boot that you forgot, there is nothing you can do but take the machine to a Toshiba Certified Service Center to have the passwor reset or removed. As the password on boot is a securiry measure to deter laptop thefts, you will probably be asked to show proof of ownership.
you forgot your pass word try logging on through safe mode just regular safe mode if it asks for a password try putting administrator as the name with no password if you get in go to control panel create new account with or with out a password just write it down this time cheers mate
There are several types of password lock ups.
If you forgot the password on the log on screen where it asks for the username and password, you need to do recovery on the computer with the recovery disc that comes with it.
If the lock up is upon powering on the computer where you can see a blue screen and asks for a password, it is a BIOS power on password and there is no way to bypass this. You need to send it to an authorized service provider to reset it.
If it is an HDD password upon boot up, sad to say, the HDD needs to be replaced.
