Question about Toshiba 65H82 65" Rear Projection Television
TV is unresponsive. If you push the power switch, the red light just comes on and the TV never powers up. Could it be a circuit breaker inside the unit? It started getting a little flakey the last 2 weeks but now it does not come on at all. Can you offer any suggestions? Thanks!!!
Yes, first check the main fuse, if it is blown, before you replace this fuse you will need to do two things. Locate two capacitors on the power supply board, they will be labeled C 809 and C 810. You will need to resolder the negative connections on these capacitors. If you do not , the set will work when you replace the fuse, but will end up blowing out the capacitors or the regulator in the power supply. If you do not understand how to do this or you do not have any printed circuit board experience, play it safe and call out a tech to fix this set for you. Good Luck
