How do you turn off standby on a kenwood krx-89 stereo

Hi, is the red light that says power On? If not, it could just be the fuse since I had the same problem. If you take the lid off, it should be in the left rear and is a 250v 6amp fuse. I had the same problem where only the standby light and the input lights were on. Neither the radio and cassette lights were on.

How to set up clock on kenwood kdc 138

Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems. The correct procedure is to press the "SRC" button and put the player in standby "STBY" mode. Once in standby mode, press the small button labeled menu on the bottom right corner and hold it for 2-3 seconds. "CLK" will appear. Press the small button inside of the "square" on the right side of the radio and hold it for 2-3 seconds. The clock will appear and will be flashing. Use the up and down arrows on the "square" to change the hour and the left and right on the "square" to change the minutes. After you get it set, press the menu button once more on the bottom right corner and it will take you back out of the menu. Hope this helps!!

I dont know what botton on my kenwood to press to change it to the aux jack on the front

You have to turn the AUX on. Hit the source button till the radio goes in to standby mode. then press and hold the menu button.. toggle through till you find the AUX option, and set it to on. After that you should be able to just use the source button to select AUX
