Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
I HAVE A ELECTRIC DRYER THAT IS A WHIRLPOOL
MODEL # LER4624BQO AND SERIAL # MD2320807.
I WAS DRYING CLOTHES FINE... AND THEN I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN FOR A SECOND LOAD AND IT JUST DON'T WANT TO TURN ON. NO NOISE NO NOTHING. PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE CAN THEY HELP?
IS IT THE FUSE/ IF SO WHICH ONE AND WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
There are 2 thermal fuses inside your dryer.
The one that stops it from coming on is located on the exhaust duct on the rear of the dryer.
Unplug the dryer, remove the rear panel.
Look down low at the exhaust duct.
You will see a black and white part about 1 inch long held in by 1 screw.

Chances are an element failed and shorted to ground.
Any fuses or breakers for the unit will be located in the fuse panel in thehouse, not inside the dryer.
