Question about Amana ACS3350 Gas Kitchen Range

Why does my oven click on and off after it heats off?

Just put in a new ignitor and it keeps shutting off and on. Why is that? What solution is there to be fixed?

Pull the temperature probe on the unit and check the Ohms on it with a multi-meter. It should read 1100 Ohms. If you get a different reading, replace the probe with this part.
Keep me posted.

Clicking noise and oven not heating

Your relays are closing but they are not sending power to the oven element (or ignitor). If it is a gas oven, check the ignitor. If it is an electric oven, you probably need a new oven control.

Oven does not heat up

most likely you have a bad bake ignitor part number WB13K21 and it's around 80 dollars, unplug the machine or shut down the breaker, remove the racks, remove the bottom floor of the oven, remove the flame panel and you'll see the ignitor attached to the burner tube, unplug the wire harness going to the ignitor, remove the screws holding the ignitor in place, plug in the new ignitor and put the screws back in,turn the power on and put it on bake, the ignitor should start to glow and the flame should lite in around 40 seconds.there are other ignitors that you can use in the stove, the only difference is that you cut the wires going to the old ignitor and splice in the new ignitor and use ceramic wire nuts to connect the wires together,it just doesn't have the harness connector on it

You need a new thermostat for the oven. It isn't picking up the heat from the ignitor. They're relatively cheap and easy to replace.

Gas oven not keeping temp consistant

Hi. this is a failing oven temp sensor. the sensor probe is not responding to the oven control. this will cause erratic temps in this oven. it will also damage the control board if the sensor isn't replaced soon.
