Question about Emerson LC320EM9 32 in. LCD HDTV
How do we fix this problem of not coming back on after turning off
Sounds like a heating problem! First, make sure that NOTHING is clogging the vents on any side of the TV...Next, dust could be holding the heat inside the case, so get a source of clean, dry air and blow the interior of the set out!

Tips for a great answer:
Hitachi 42" plasma TV all of a sudden death. Power failure, no lights on the front panels. No signs of life.Found solution through my very honest repairman called Johnny's TV Repair in Hollywood:
There is a kill switch to protect against power surges. Located under the bottom edge nest to where the cable goes in the body, all you have to do is press it back in and voila; LET THERE BE LIGHT and probably save yourself a min $200 trip to the repair shop. Of all the places my friend called non mentioned this switch so next time you have TV problem and can't fix yourself go to this guy if you're in Los Angeles.
