How do I get my AUX Input to work on my Kenwood KDC-135?

I noticed other people asked this same question. I tried the answers displayed on there and it still didnt work. I am so frustrated. I am trying to play my Ipod on the radio.

I tried putting the radio on Standby and pressing the Menu button, but nothing happens as I press Menu.

Please help!

Press and hold menu I believe. Once in, scroll through all the parameters untill you come to "Aux Input" then select and turn on. Sorry, can't remember exact buttons. If all else fails, go download the manual from Kenwood.

How do you hook up an i-pod to a KDC-135 AND HEAR IT?

You will need a 3.5mm mini to mini cable (available at any good car audio store for between $10-20. Plug that into the headphone jack on your ipod and then into the aux input on your stereo. Then select aux-in as the source on your Kenwood. Now play the music on your ipod at about 3/4 volume on the iPod.

Cannot assess my aux input on kdc 237

  • Selecting the (SRC) button to "AUH" which is the auxiliary input.
  • If this does not work.
  • Then set the unit to standby mode. By pressing the (SRC) button until "STBY" is displayed. You need to check that "On AUH" is enabled. Now try the "AUH" again.

Is a kenwood kdc 135 have a aux. for ipod capability

Look on the back to see if there is an auxilary socket plus on the front of the unit, is there an aux button to allow an input from an auxilary device. If you dont have a manual I would go to Kenwoods web site and enter in the model and see if you can download a user manual.

AUX input won't work

The red and white RCA terminals on the back of the unit are generally outputs for amplifiers. To use AUX the unit will need to have a 3.5mm jack in the front or rear. If not than the unit does not have AUX input capabilities.
