SOURCE: Jenn-Air electric wall oven door opens slightly when in bake mode

you either have a bent door hinge or a broken door spring.
check the hinges by opening the door and see if it opens past 90 degrees. if it leans towards the floor then the hinges are bent.
if not then your door springs are broken off. you can check this by seeing if the door "feels" heavy when opening.
either way the door should close tight against the frame when up and the light should not come on without opening the door.

SOURCE: I have a jenn-air gas range which is 4 yrs old.

Hi,

There is a possibility that the burner is partially blocked, make sure the oven is off and cool, take out the shelves, get a torch, a pin, a small piece of emery paper (or brillo pad) and a matchstick.

Inspect the burner at the back of the oven (look at the holes) remove any debris with the pin or match stick, use the emery paper/brillo to clean the igniter (this is a white stick with a piece of metal sticking out near the burner) very gently clean the metal part.

Try lighting it, if it makes no difference it's likely that your FSD (Flame Safeguard Device) is faulty and not allowing the correct amount of gas through.

It's a fiddly job looking at that so i would highly recommend a 'Gas Safe' engineer take a look at it for you.

I hope this helps.

F7 error code jenn-air wall oven

My 20 year old electric Jenn Air range recently flashed the F7 error code and beeped repeatedly. I shut off the circuit breaker until it cooled. The next day I turned it on and everything seemed fine. We baked a pizza and the
erro repeated when the oven was shut off.
I opened the front panel and noticed the wire ribbon connecting the front panel to the display was slightly askew. How that happened is beyond me. I pulled out the ribbon hold down clips, pushed the ribbon in all the way, and
replaced the hold down clips. The range is now working properly after replacing nothing.
The cheapest fix possible.

Jenn-Air stove locked

After the lock indicator light goes out, move the door lock lever to the left. The oven door can now be opened. Turn the selector and temperature knobs from clean to off AFTER THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. If the temperature knob is turned to off BEFORE the door is unlocked, the door will not open. Forcing the lock will damage the lock mechanism. If this should happen, return the temperature knob back to CLEAN, unlock the door, THEN turn the temperature knob off. Two of the oven controls do on function on SVE47500W

We own a Jenn-Aire model W27400W oven. The display module has gradually gone dim over a period of several months prior to the end of the warranty, and the display is no longer visible. It is apparent that several Jenn-Aire oven models use the same display. Does Anyone else have the same problem, and If so, are they willing to join a class-action suit against Jenn-Aire with us?
