Question about Toshiba Satellite Computers & Internet
If it's wireless check the batteries, if it doesn't work on your computer you might not have a the recommended windows drivers to use it. Get a mouse/keyboard that runs off PS2 ( the purple port ) then go to my computer > manage and update the drives for the usb one from there.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: mouse cursor wont move
most laptops have a way to enable/disable the touchpad for those that use an external mouse or do alot of typing and encouter the overactive touchpad.
hold the "FN" key and press the corospinding function "f button" to enable it.
the function key number will be different depending on your laptop and you should also check the laptop base for a button that may be specifically for this purpose.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!! :)
