Question about Fountains & Ponds
I have been using my Sunterra pump, along with a tank heater to keep my medium sized pond from freezing (I'm trying to keep my fish alive). After an unusually cold spell the pump stared cycling on and off - eventually it stopped. I was able to remove the pump from the water and I can freely turn the impeller but it won't even "hum" when I plug it in.
Take the pump apart take the insides out the shaft and that's it . now take the part with all the copper wire soke it in turpintine put it back togethere the coating on the coper has a hole some were leave it in over night if your pump has circuit board remove before you put it in
