Question about Harmon Kardon Harman Kardon Soundsticks III

Open Question

I'm gettin g massive feedback fr you even barely touch cord or plug the feedback on my soundsticks at the Dell laptop external speaker connection. If you barely touch the plug or cord the feedback

Is it my computer or is it almost impossible to type in that first box, it's like a time delay, but anyway my issue is feedback at full volume no matter what the volume is set on the static is loud!! (people can hear it upstairs in a two story house) at the connection where it plugs into my Dell. I had cheaper speakers before with no problem at all. Unfortunately I am a clumsy typer and am constantly hitting the damn thing. Is their anything I could buy or do to stop this feedback?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Sound is really quiet with inputs

Hello. Please be sure that you are plugging your iPod into the tape in, or play, and not into the record out, or record. If you have these reversed, you will greatly lower the signal level going to the amplifier.

My MacBook's audio still on even when harman Kardon speakers are connected to the computer.(Original version with USC connectors).

As I seem to recall the very first version was powered by the computer and as such may not be compatible with your Mac. I may be thinking of Apple's Clear speakers though? Do your HK Soundsticks have a power adapter or AC cord?

NEED POWER CORD FOR HARMANKARDON MODEL#nu40-2160150-13. input:100-240v 1.2a OUTPUT=16v=1.5A

I found this site. You need what appears to be the power cord for the Soundsticks II. You must get that part right, either original Soundsticks, II, or III.

I need the little plastic part that connects to this power cord. It's the piece that is connected to one of the soundsticks speakers, with the three pins.
I would appreciate knowing what the name of that part is, so that I can purchase it.
I find the price ridiculous for this power cord, and it was more than $200, prior!
Best of luck!

Question on allowable use

Hi sheawm. You can use your speakers as long they have the mini-plug connector such as ipods, blackberrys, laptops, desktops, etc. so it won´t matter. I hope this helps.

WRONG IDEA, YOU CANNOT MAKE AN OUTPUT SOUND ON YOUR MP3 THROUGH USB, THE BEST THING THAT WORKS IS ... REPLACE YOUR HEADPHONE WITH A CORD [AUDIO JACK] AND CONNECT IT TO YOUR PC SOUND CARD THROUGH AUDIO INPUT HOLE. .. THIS REALLY WORKS... PLEASE VOTE FOR MY POSTING

Soundsticks not recognised

Remember that speakers that plug into an analogue port do not need drivers - the drivers are for your sound card.
I sounds as though the problem lies there.
