This would indicate that you have either not connected the connector from the door sensor to the relevant board, the sensor has failed or the door is not making the sensor.

Close door message

The unit should run when out of the cabinet on its track glides. However the small cover lid (door) on top of the machine where you would put Ground Coffee in has a switch sensor on it. The cover acts as a magnetic switch and it must be in the closed position. My display says "close the lid" if left open. Since Thermador tells you to call a repairman for everything (which is hard to find one that can work on it) I've had to take every cover off for dis-assembly and repair. With all covers off the machine the only thing I had to do was to "Jump" the ground coffee wire connecter to make it run with no covers on. It makes great coffee but tough to get repaired. Let me know if that was it.

Printer will not print showing error 2200. How do l fix it?

This is a scanner error. You could try the following...
Power off and remove the power supply(Power Cord) from the back of the unit.
Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE DID NOT COME BACK....
Power off and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the top cover
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
INSERT THE COLOR CARTRIDGE ONLY,
Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE RETURNS.. GET A DIFFERENT COLOR CARTRIDGE AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS....
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE IS GONE,
Power down as before, do all the same to get the carrier to the middle of the unit and RE-INSTALL THE BLACK CARTRIDGE.
Power back up as in previous steps...
NO ERROR? SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO..
ERROR?? TRY DIFFERENT BLACK
If after trying all of the above and the error message does not go away, you unit would need serviced (if it's under warranty, it's worth it; if not, you might want to replace it.)

Keeps stating cover open close cover

Hello my friend.First check the Switch activator (hangs down on left side of Top Cover),second check output voltages on the low voltage power supply and if has problem replace the high voltage power supply. Also you can try replace system cable but if its the error still appears its more like a hardware problem like the system board and you must replace it or take your printer to a repair service but i think you may accidentally push the switch or broke it somehow.
