Were you referring to the furnace blower turning the wrong way.. I assumed you were talking about the humidifier blower... the furnace is new and working fine, it is an up-flow. The humidifier is not a bypass type, it just has a fan inside which is pulling air into itself... I was assuming it would push air through the filter and into the hot air plenum. I have it installed just above the furnace and the humidistat on the return air side. hope this gets on the same page if there was a misunderstanding. thanks for your time...
The humidifier is designed to "pull" the air through the water panel. After it does the humidified air will re-enter the plenum on the side of the opening that it is pulling in from. Just keep the water panel replaced every year and you will be fine.
