I carried my Westinghouse TV to the basement. Unplugged the antenna from the digital converter box and connected it to my digital TV. I then re-scanned for channels and found channel 9. After carrying the Westinghouse TV back upstairs, I connected the original set-up and tuned to channel 9 which was now showing on the screen as no signal. From that point I moved my VHF dipoles until I had located the correct position for reception. A little labor intensive, but I was fortunate to have another antenna that was receiving channel 9.

From the menu you should see set up the cannel scan should be there.. If all else fails unplug the TV for a few minutes then plug it back in. It should ask if you want to set up the tv, Say yes and follow the steps.

to program the direct tv remote to any non listed device, press and hold the tv button until all lights stay lit, then press the small red tv power button, then press the channel up button repeatedly until the tv turns off, then press the red record button. may have to find the best code that wokrs all functions by repeating the above steps several times-

Do you have Verizon? The problem you are having is a long standing issue with Verizon. It was recently corrected for some of us. Certain TV's could not receive QAM channels, because of a Verizon caused issue. They blamed the TV manufacturer and the manufacturer blamed Verizon.
My TV's are Sharps, but I recall Vizio as also having the problem. Although it was fixed in my area MA, and in the Philadelphia area, other areas are still reporting the issue My problem disappeared shortly after the recent channel realignment.
