WHY DOES OIL BLOW OUT DIPSTICK TUBE WHEN ITS RUNNING

Make sure it has the right amount of oil in the crank case, if over filled the oil will foam and flow out any place it can, Worn piston rings can cause blowby into the crank case , causing oil to escape from the dipstick tube.

Why is my compressor leaking oil?

where is it leaking oil from?
From the dipstick?
from the tank?
from the sump plug?

If it is leaking from the tank you may have piston/cylinder damage that allows the oil to escape into the tank.

Pressurized crankcase ?

Yes, more than likely the crankcase is being pressurized.

The usual cause is worn piston rings/bores. As the piston moves up on the compression stroke the air/gases are forced downwards into the crankcase. These pressurized gases try and escape to the atmosphere any way they can - either from the rocker cover, the oil-dipstick tube or through the rubber seal on the oil filter.

If there's an 'oil breather' on your engine, try cleaning it out. But .. the usual cause is a worn engine

My eldery neighbor pulled the dipstick tube out in a 2001 ford escape where does it go back in

Actually, the dipstick fits into a metal tube and that tube can be found (usually) at the front or side of the engine. The tube diameter is approximately equal to the width of the dipstick. There aren't very many tubes under the hood that match that description

My oil light comes on when I stop and goes off when I press the gas and start back driving.

Check and verify that your oil level is full on your engine oil dipstick, if its low add oil until its in the safe area of the dipstick, if your oil is full and your still having this problem, the problem is most likely a faulty oil pressure switch, replace the switch and your oil light problem should be fixed...

How much oil does a 2003 softail duece take? Also how much does the transmission and primary take as well?

To the best of my knowledge, your Duece takes three quarts of oil with a filter change. The transmission holds 20-24 ounces of oil. And, your primary takes 38-44 ounces of oil.

Your oil tank has a dipstick in it. Fill the oil tank until the level is just above the lower line with the bike on the stand. The lower line is "FULL COLD" and the upper line is "FULL HOT". Do not overfill.

The transmission is the same way, On the right side clutch release cover, there's a plug that takes a 3/8" Allen or Hex key to remove. It too has a dipstick marked the same way the oil tank dipstick is marked. Check the oil in the transmission with the bike standing straight up.

In the primary, you fill the oil level to where it just touches the lowest part of the clutch spring. The outer clutch housing is bright aluminum. Inside this is a round dark colored piece of metal. This is the clutch spring. Fill or check the oil with the bike standing straight up. Do not overfill as it will make your clutch drag and you will not be able to find neutral with the engine running.

Good Luck

Fluid capasities in a 2002 dyna twin cam. oil, trans, primary?

Engine oil - 3 qts
Primary oil - 34-42 oz.
transmission - 20-24 ounces.

The engine oil and the transmission oil both have dipsticks. Maintain the oil levels according to the dipstick indications. Each dipstick has two marks. The top mark represents "FULL HOT" while the lower mark represents "FULL COLD" . Check the engine oil with the bike on the side stand. Check the transmission oil with the bike standing straight up.

On the primary, check or add oil with the bike standing straight up. Do not overfill. The oil level should be no higher than the lowest edge of the clutch spring. If you put too much oil in the primary, the clutch will drag making it impossible to find neutral with the engine running.

Shooting oil out of dipstick

Your engine breather system is blocked....this means that the only way that the compression caused on ignition that is getting past the piston rings and into the block can escape is via the dipstick tube.
Check breather for kinks and some have filters ensure that these are not blocked

Where do i put the oil back in the bike after i drain the oil? drained the oil and now do not know where to replace this oil please help!

There is a dipstick near the top level of the radiator on the right side of the bike. Just remove the dipstick and pour in the fresh oil.
To check oil level, let the bike idle for three minutes then turn it off. Now use the dipstick to read the oil level.

Please rate this solution. Thanks Eagle!
