Question about 1995-1997 Chevy 1500 Truck Ignition Starter Alarm Switch
Blower motor for heater stops working on high and makes noise
Sounds like two problems. No high speed could be the blower relay located by the blower motor. The blower motor is located under the dash on the passenger side of truck. You may need to take off the sound kick panel to see the motor. It is connected with 4 screws to the housing. Take out the screws and it should come out.

the computer is different on the 4l80e put the wiring should be the same. the case has the same bolt pattern. The bolt pattern stayed the from on the pickups from atleast 2001 down. You can use an LS series style motor's transmission if you wanted. You will just have one less bolt in the transmission case to the block.
