Question about Dell Inspiron Computers & Internet
You will need to set up an internet connection again put the cd provided by your ISP internet service provider and follow the prompts
You will have to open up your network connections Click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled. Make sure your antivirus program is not blocking the internet connection. If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question ? exclamation mark ! or a red X right click install drivers. The driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider or the motherboard disc Click start type cmd press enter you will be in DOS mode type in ipconfig press enter you will see all o fyour internet connection details type in your default gateway adress into your internet search should read something like 10.0.0.138 Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys navigate to integrated peripherals look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its "Enabled"imake sure its enabledPci device arrows key scroll to nstalled. if its wireless just scan for your wireless box
If its wired conect your wire go to control pannel then network connections then add new connection follow on screen instructions provide info it asks for and away you go if it dosent work after you have set it up go to the new connection double click then select properties the scroll down to internet protocal (tcp/ip) the click properties then make sure obtain ip adress automaticly is selected and then select use the following dns servers then add your own and it should work.hope this helps

1. Copy all your files and documents to an external storage device.
2. Shut down the computer.
3. Turn the PC back on and hit the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Option Screen appears.
4. Click "Repair Your Computer" if you are not already on it and then press ENTER
5. choose your country and click OK
6. On the "System Recovery Options Screen" click "Restore Application" which is the last option.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions
8. When prompted, click on "Full Factory Recovery"
10. Click "Yes"
11. you will notice for a while it seems like nothing is happening, give it some time.
12. After some minutes, recovery will complete and you click "Finish"

First restart your Toshiba laptop. Press either "F1," "0," or "F8" to be taken to your computer's hard
drive utility screen. The key command differs depending on the model

Select "Restore Original Factory Image" from the list of options in System Recovery. Verify that you want to continue the process by clicking "Yes," then click "Next".
