SOURCE: Replacement Blades

I dont believe you can get replacement heads for non-professional clippers. If you are going to invest in a new pair you could go to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchase a pair that you could always get a replacement head for.
If you dont want to invest in a new pair you could bring that pair in there and see if any of the replacement heads they have may fit. There is usually eather 2 or 4 screws that will go in there. You could find one that looks the same and it may just work! Good Luck!

SOURCE: how do I change the

What is missing in the "solutions" is the fact that you need to raise the bar with the guides on it that is part of the trimmer.  Depending upon how you removed the existing blade, the bar may be flat against the trimmer.  Take a flat head screwdriver and raise that guide.  Slide the new blade on and line up the slot at the cutting edge of the blade.  The whole problem is that the guide is likely flat which makes it impossible to install the new blade.  VERY POOR directions from Oster.

Brand new andis trimmer pulling hair and not cutting good

The questions about Andis T-Outliner or Andis Styliner II, about not cutting or pulling hair.
On the Andis T-Outliner trimmer if the sharpness of the blade is worn out, all the tricks and treats won't make this blade to cut hair. Before I do any kind of work to the trimmer, I first test the coil for the right amount power, I can get out of the coil, without this power, it doesn't matter how new or old the trimmer is, the trimmer will not cut hair at all. If the coil is good, I will sharpen the blade and set it according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) after the blade is sharpened and set. The trimmer will need to be, adjusted for alignment to the blade, adjust the power of the coil, and adjust the tension for the blade. All these factors are involved in the Andis T-Outliner to cut hair clean especially lineups or shaving. These adjustments work together for the trimmer to work properly. I know that we all trying to save money, which is part of life, but sometimes frustration will take over and say hell with it, I'll buy another or forget it. Manufactures make mistakes, sometimes the trimmer was not sharpened or adjusted correctly. Any case, what I'm trying to say here, if you try all the tricks & treats and can get your trimmer to work, it may be easier for you to send it to a professional to sharpen & repair the problem and set the blade according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) We specialize on Andis T-Outliner Trimmers. Our complete sharpening & repair service is $19.99 each trimmer, this includes return shipping. We sharpen the blade, adjust and set the blade according to your request (Lineup or Shave setting) make all the necessary adjustments for alignment, power, tension to make your trimmer work better than new. Our mail order service is one day turn around. We are well known throughout the United States for our service in sharpening. Check us out at www.mannys-sharpening.com or call us at 323 237-2885. I have an Andis outliner II I purchased a year ago. I recently changed the blade but it won't cut my hair. Do you kow why?

Sometimes the new blades from Andis are not sharpen enough to get that clean cut. also all trimmers need to be readjusted for power and alignment, plus sharpening the blade, it look like you need a complete sharpen & service on your Andis trimmer. check out Manny's Sharpening they have a Mail Order service, the service they provide is fast and they will sharpen make all the adjustment and give your trimmer more power and the blade will cut clean. They will even adjust the blade at your request on how you want that blade to be set at. Line Ups or Fade Cuts and even shave set. Manny's Sharpening been around for over 20 years and they have a very good rating on the net. Check it out Manny's Sharpening

How do I change my blades?

unscrew the blades and replace with new ones, alternatively oil the blades that are already on the clipper each time it is used. You will be surprised at the amount of hair clogged up on the inner blade when you take them off

I have the alpha 8554. I dont like the plastic combs, is that the only way to adjust closeness?

No, the type of blade you have can be adjusted or change to a closer type blade. This blade is inter-changeable but you need a special tool to restt the blade or change the blade for the type of hair cutting you want.

Andis Outliner II Trimmers

look if the trimmer is pulling hair, its not lack of oil
its maybe the speed of the trimmer needs to be faster.
its the the plastic flat head skrew on the side.check if the blades separate easiley if theyt do sometimes that makes the trimmer pull hair to.there might be a little plate on the inside of the trimmer and its not holding the blades tight.adjust that not to tight though then the trimmer wont cut
