SOURCE: fsx multiplayer problem

Hello,

When that message is displayed when logging onto anything means that there is another PC that is already logged into using the user name and password you just entered.

If you have more than one PC make sure you are not logged in on your other PC. If this is not the case someone is possibly using your details. You can also go to gamespy's website to the support section. You should be able to contact them and seek help on what to do about it.

Thank you for choosing Fixya!

SOURCE: MCFS Joystick Problem

Make sure, that your Joystick is compatible with the version you are having problems with. If not, make sure that it's enabled in the configuration of MCFS. If none of those work, you will most likely have to purchase a more compatible Joystick.

SOURCE: Game won't open.

Hmmm.... There might be a flaw in the disc somewhere (scratch or dust or something) that is preventing it from copying the file required. Try reinstalling after cleaning (and maybe resurfacing) your disc. If the problem persists, then you may have gotten a faulty disc that doesn't HAVE the file required on it (This is rare, but happens from time to time and is just bad luck). If this is the case you will have to acquire a new copy of the game.

Any computer games have system requirements needed. take a look at the system requirements before you install the game. The HDD, video card, RAM, etc. If your PC passed the said requirements?.... that game maybe work even if you had win 7, win 8, vista or xp.

Good video, no sound with my dell dimension 9150

You can try to get the drivers off of your CD or you can download the drivers from here:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19

1. Just choose "Select A Different Product"
2. Then choose "No, Choose from a list of all Dell products" and
select "continue"
3. Then select "Desktops"
4. Then select "Dimension"
5. Then select "Dimension 9150/XPS 400"
6. Now just scroll down and pick the drivers you need.

Don't forget to install your chipset and network drivers as well.

A few problems with my dell 9150. 1 Windows boots up but screen shows garbled then turns black and monitor into power save mode. I tried a complete system recovery, still the same.

I would try starting up in VGA mode (tap F8 at the splash screen and choose VGA mode from the menu)

VGA mode will load very few drivers and a generic video driver into Windows. From there you may be able to go to a website and download the latest (or even rolled back) drivers. Or you can uninstall and reinstall the drivers from the Device Manager (in the control panel)

This article from microsoft provides a little more detailed information:

I bought an Esky flight simulator and when I download it, part way thru the download a box pops up that says "D3DRM.dll is not loaded" what does that mean and most of all, what can I do to fix...

You need to download and install the latest version of DirectX. You will find the information on how to do that here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113

Follow the steps and remember to REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER after you install DirectX. Once you've rebooted, you should be able to install the flight sim.

Video card

To see the video part of your flight simulator you must have at least 8 MB of video card in your PC.
If your PC satisfying the requirements then u should try to update the drivers of your Video card or Also u can reinstall the directx and you can also check it by the command dxdiag which will provide you all the info. about your PC.

I cant instal Flight Simulator X

jerivas,

Your problem most likely has to do with the video card that you have. Make sure your video card supports DirectX 9.0c, has at least 32 MB of RAM and can suport hardware transformation and lighting.

Good luck!

Combat flight simulator wont recognize my sidewinder precision 2 joystick on vista but it did on xp?

I am farmiliar with most flight simulators and know that you have to go to settings on the main menu the controls and select joystick, enable joystick and/or calibrate joystick. If this doesn't wok then in gameplay push "alt" on your keyboard if the task bar for flight simulator isn't at the top. Once or if it is allready there select settings and then enable joystick. If this doesn't work then call or contact or google microsoft flight simulator.
