Ist sure caused by heavy loads... in the center you will find a bolt or nut... remove it to check which feet of the motor are destroyed... unrust and weld it together...

or

you can bring the motor in a service center or replace a compatible one...

The bearing may have siezed or you have something jammed between the drum and outercasing

SOURCE: zanussi washing machine drum will not go round at all

i had a similar problem with a zanussi machine
a cheap bracelet got washed with some clothes and it found its way into the drum housing jamming the drum.

it may have been cheap to fix, but i just got rid of it cos it was 4 years old anyway

i now have a zanussi ZWF1231W just past its 1 wear warranty that has just died completely except for an "on indicator light"
the store inform me that i will have to pay the zanussi engineer a Euro 90 call out charge, plus labour costs, plus parts if needed.

im a little bit disappointed with zanussi to say the least

SOURCE: My Hotpoint Aquarius WF210 washing machine drum is not rotating

I think the belt has come off or has been damaged.

To open the machine slide out the machine. On the back panel lower 1/3 you will see a plastic panel remove the screws and the panel will come away. Inside you will see the belt. I suspect you will need to reattach the belt of remove it and buy a replacement.

The cost depends a lot on the location you are in but not to worry this seems to be a mechanical fault and all what is required is good skill to remove the assembly and check , replace the bearings, check the shaft, bushes, seals for wear and reset.
With a manual check you can observe the wobbling of the drum and will prove that this is not steady due to the failure of the mechanical system comprising the spares mentioned.

Check the inside rear of the drum for the three screws in a triangle closest to the center.
If these screws come out the drum rolls off center and the motor can no longer drive it.

I have two socks inside my drum in my washing machine

They are probably wrapped around the heater element or laying in the sump that the heater sits in.

When you said you have removed the hose did you remove it from the pump end or the drum end.

The drum end should allow you to get a torch and a small mirror to take a look inside the base of the drum.

If you can see something then you are home and dry if not then:

Use a wire coat hanger and form a small 90 degree bend in the end say 18mm, dont make it too big in case it fouls on the heater.

Use that to probe along the bottom of the inside of the drum

If you can feel something soft turn the wire a couple of times to engage it in the cloth and try to pull ut out.

If it wont come out then the only solution is to remove the heater element to gain access

Funny noise when machine is emptying

Does the "whirring noise" sound like a jet engine?  If so your bearings are going.  Check your warranty.  It's a big job to replace them.
