Pioneer vsx-454 not working propley.radio not even hissing, managed to get whisper sound via pc aux,i have cleaned inids?

It sounds like you're not in the right input source (mode) or you have a external source selected. I show your unit as a 1995 model and so check your Tape 1, Tape 2 selection buttons. These "Tape" selection button get dirty contacts that will kill the audio. To clean, with the volume low, press them on and off around 20 times each. This works the contacts back-n-forth and will help clean them.

I AM RECORDING VIDEOS ON MY VIVITAR 5022 BUT THE SOUND DOESNT PLAY. I AM TRYING TO FIND THE SOUND OPTION BUT I DONT SEE A VOLUME BUTTON ANYWHERE ON THE MENU

The ViviCam 5022 is designed primarily as a still camera, with some video capabilities grafted on. It does not record sound. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

That probably wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

Volume is turned all the way up but we can barely hear the sound. It is a little better through headphone but not much.

First, turn the volume most of the way down so you don't blow something out. Set it to about 20%, if there is a readout.

Then, look for a speaker switch. You didn't provide the make or model of your receiver, so it is very difficult to provide specific information, but most receivers have a switch which enables the speakers. Make sure that is turned on.

Next, look for a "tape monitor" button or switch. This is the most likely cause of the problem. Press that button or switch, and look on the receiver's display panel to see if you see a "tape monitor" light go on or off.

There may also be a "video monitor" button or switch. Repeat the above directions for that.

Video

First, you need to have an SD card installed; the 8025 will not record video to internal memory. Second, be aware that the 8025 will not record any sound to accompany the video.

Press the Home button to bring up the main menu. Select Movie Mode (movie camera icon). Press the shutter button to begin shooting. Press the shutter button to stop shooting and save the file.

If you need a manual, you can download one from the manufacturer's web site at http://vivitar.com

Check that the tape monitor (or tape 2) is not on. To turn it off press the tape 2/tape monitor button. Turn the volume down first!

Volume is too low.

smith,

good day, not so familiar with this model but try this.

1) try to check in your DVD remote controller if it does have a + and - buttons indicating volume , if does have this features press + button to increase the sound output

2) if remote commander doesn't have this features try accessing the " SETUP" menu. most probably there would be a button in your dvd remote indicating this button "SETUP"

3)once you've access the setup menu, there would be a dialogue box indicating ( Video setup, Audio Setup, display setup, parental lock) insome cases it will show you a display picture of all this menu

navigate the dialogue box and look for "audio setup" once you've access this part there would be options and controls where you can change the volume/audio settings .

cheers,
mark
