The camera will not display the battery status until it drops below a certain threshold. When you don't see the status on the screen, take that to mean the status is good.

Turn sony w330 and upper left corner shows a battery replaced with a new battery and it still shows a battery in upper left corner help

After looking up Sony w330, I don't think that it is a projector, it's a camera? Might have posted in the wrong category? Nonetheless, here is my solution for the camera. Most cameras do display battery power to indicate how much battery is left in the camera. Some cameras give you an option to turn on/off the indicator because it may become annoying for some users as it could get in the way. The icon that you see may simply be a fully charged battery icon, unless you see some gap inside that icon which shows that the battery is discharging (being used).
If this has nothing to do with a camera, read below:
I have never heard of a projector that has a battery, nonetheless, I'm not very well knowledgeable with projectors, but my best educated guess from all of the devices I have used have experienced similar problems. You may have to execute a factory reset on the whole thing, and this might clear all memory of needing a battery.

How can i find the battery indicator for the Nikon coolpix s3000 on the display? P.S. page 22 from the manual doesn't help! Thanks,

Greetings - The indicator that is displayed on page 22 of the manual is the only battery indicator in the camera. There is no real time "gauge" of battery status.

As indicated, there is only battery charged (no display), battery low indicator and battery exhausted indicator. You'll find very few (if any) consumer grade point and shoot cameras with that level of monitoring.

Regards and thanks for using Fix Ya.

The Battery status indicator is missing in my display

That simply indicates that the battery status is good. The low-battery indicator only comes on when the battery starts going down.

How can i see the battery status ???

The camera won't show a battery status until the level drops below some threshold. See the "Step 1: Turn the Camera On and Select Auto Mode" section of the manual (page 22 in my copy) for what the indicators look like.

How come my battery wont charge on my brand new Nikon S 8000? There isn't an indicator light showing the status of a charge...also I had it charging for 24 hr but still battery exhausted message.

We had this same problem...battery indicator light not showing and battery not charging. We found out by accident that if the battery cover is open, it won't charge. So open the battery cover, open the USB cover, shut the battery cover and then plug in the USB as normal. It worked for us, hope it will work for you too.

Kodak m1033 cameraturns on shows date and time have been reset camera buttons and controls do not function

Ii understand your problem description as the camera turns off immidietly after having shown the date and time.

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.
4. Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

Camera dock does'nt work

If the light indicating the charging status is off, remove the batteries from the camera and make sure that you are using the Kodak Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack KAA2HR. THis is the only battery that will charge on the dock. If you are using the correct battery and it still does work, better to get a rapid charger instead.

The low-battery indicator only shows up when the battery level drops below a certain threshhold. Normally there is no indication on the screen of the battery status.

Low Battery Indcator Flashes

You can check the status of your battery, including chargeble life remaining, in the Setup Menu. You need to have the CSM/Setup menu option to display Full menus, not Simple, in order to get battery status. So see if that battery status selection says you need to replace the battery.

Since you can shake the camera to get full battery, it's possible the battery contacts (on the battery or in the camera) are dirty, so check that.

If you do need a new battery, spend the few extra bucks to get a genuine Nikon EN-EL3e from a Nikon dealer. I have learned that many off-brand batteries do not properly implement a needed reserve, and "Genuine Nikon" batteries bought online from non-dealers are often counterfeit, just relabeled junk.
