How do I winterize there is no place to put the fluid

Hi, Marvin not sure which fluid you're talking about back in the day I use to slowly pour about 4 oz. of clean motor oil down the carburetor while the engine was running to coat the combustion chamber so rust doesn't move in the following is geared towards Harley's but it will work for any motorcycle, if you know your bike is going to be idle for months or longer here are some tips you can use to make restarting whenever that day comes to a hassle-free breeze.
A. Remove battery and keep it close to a battery tender/charger that you can hook up to at least once a month for 24 hours.
B. Drain the fuel tank and inspect the inside for rust, dirt, ethanol sludge, etc, remove and clean the petcock filter if you are carbureted, remove the fuel pump and check the pickup filter and the plastic delivery line for pin holes as these are common with age.
C. Drain the fuel lines going from the fuel tank to the carburetor/induction module.
D. On carbureted models remove the main jet access plug and drain the float bowl or, if necessary, remove and drain the float bowl!!!! this is very important as old fuel can turn to sludge and gum up your jets.
E. Drain engine, transmission, and primary oil this will eliminate wet-sumping and other various leaking situations during the storage time.

Tip

Time to Winterize your lawn equipment.

Fall is here and now is the time to winterize your lawn equipment.

If you plan on using your equipment into the winter, then this is the time to stabilize and winterize your fuel. If you have any fuel left over from the summer, use it up now and get fresh fuel for the winter. Gasoline starts to "oxidize" in as little as 60 days. So take the older, stale fuel and use it up. Mix it with the good gas in your car if you have very much left over.

To winterize your fuel, start with fresh gasoline. Buy fresh gas from a station that sells alot of fuel, that way you are getting the freshest fuel possible. Add a stabilizer to the gasoline. I use "Sta-bil" brand, but you can use any brand of stabilizer that is local to you. Read the directions on the bottle and mix it with the gasoline. Fill the tank on your equipment and allow it to run for about 5 minutes. This will make sure the stabilized fuel is in all sections of the engine that have gasoline. Top off the tank and then store you equipment in a dry area. When spring comes around, you will be ready to use your equipment.

If you are still using your equipment, prep your fuel as above and make sure to top off the tank after each use. A full gas tank is less likely to absorb water from the humidity in the air.

This is also a good time to check the air filter.

We'll change the oil and sharpen the blade in the Spring.

Good Luck!

Cannot find the water pump to winterize 2010 Forest River Sierra. I can hear it running but am unable to locate it. The bypass valves are in the correct winterize position but the antifreeze will not go in...

You don't need to find the water pump. Make sure your water tank is empty before adding RV winterizer to the water tank. Run each faucet in the RV with bypass valve NOT in winterize position until you see the antifreeze begin to come out of the faucet. Do this for both cold and hot water side for each faucet. Then move bypass valve to winterize position and run for a few seconds.

I need to drain the boiler and winterize the machine for storage

The boiler drain is in the drain box, under the drain tray hidden beneath the black safety cover with the 4 small screws. There is a plug in the box, using a 17mm open end wrench you can open the plug to drain machine. It is also a good idea to drain the exchangers by disconnecting the fitting and letting it drain out, you will notice the 2 pipes going up at an angle to the exchangers.
