Question about Kodak EasyShare Z710 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Kodak Easyshare z710 will not operate

I turned the camera to the camera position and it starts to come on and the lens acts like it is going to come out, then doesn't and the camera shuts off. I have tried a fresh set of batteries, energizer and duracell CR-V3 they both have the same problem. I have had this camera for a couple years and this is the first time it has given me any issues.

Same problem. Camera will not charge on dock or when hooked to computer. Tried 2 sets of new rechargeable batteries, no luck. Very frustrating. Not a cheap camera!

My camera will power up then a few seconds later it powers down. I had this problem once before and sent it to Kodak, it was there for weeks and when they sent it back they said there was nothing wrong with the camera and that it was the batteries. No matter what batteries I use it does the same thing. No more Kodak cameras for me. Joan of Arc

Go into the camera menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. If your camera uses an SD card, make sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position.

I dropped our Kodak Z710

Doubt it. Kodaks are notorious for the lens becoming knocked out of line when dropped. I had an older model that a child knock off a 3 foot high table and it never worked again. Best thing is to find a local repair shop, call in to Kodak for assistance, or look for another camera.

Kodak EasyShare Z710 - Lens won't retract or close

I too had the same problem. We were told we were using the wrong bateries, so we made sure that we used the correct ones, and it happened again and now the warranty is out and I can't send it to be fixed. If anyone has any idea what the problem is, please email me at admrlkirk1@aol.com.

Thanks
