My Frigidaire Affinity dryer keeps wrecking my clothes by breaking straps

In any front load machine, whether washer or dryer, the manufacturer will suggest to have the items with buttons or straps, or small items, put into a mesh bag. Now you can have a professional check to see if you have too much of a gap between the drum and the door itself.

I'm trying to get the bottom pulley off to get to bottom timing cover & can not get the bolt out, any suggestions?

There's only two ways to get it off...1) impact wrench, 2) you can try and use a strap wrench wrapped around the pulley to hold it in place while you remove the center bolt. Be sure and get a high quality strap wrench or the strap will just break while your trying to break the bolt loose. If you do a lot of diy mechanic work I would highly recommend an impact wrench. If you don't have a large enough air compressor you can get a cordless model that will do the job just as good.

I have this Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer and Stroller. It is wonderful. However there is a strap that is bolted on to the main frame and to the spring end that connects to the bike hitch. My husband is...

This particular strap is a safety backup strap. This strap is just for in case that the first one securing the trailer to the bike breaks so it will still stay connected to your bike.

Changing gasoline pump but tank screws lose but dont come out , they keep turning..its a Bonneville 1995...does it have a bult on top...how do I take tank down??

The nuts on top are usually held with a weld, but not uncommon for them to break loose and spin. Should be 2 straps, and one bolt at one end of each. You may have to get wrench, or vise grips up in there to stop nut from turning. Lots of penetrating spray on them, they will probably be pretty rusted at the threads.

Most of the battery can be build and replace. Look at specialist like onlybatteries.com where you can buy any kind of battery cells, with tabs if need that you can weld, or make weld at your local electronic shop repair. Keeps the old pack, open it with a xacto without breaking it or a dremel and check how its made. its usually AA nimh battery...

When it is running it moves a lot on the tile floor we have it on. What is the best way to stop it from moving? It is a GE Profile washing machine

You will need to replace the rubber straps. There is one one each conner, just under the top. If you push the tub over to one side and run your hand under the top and feel. You will find a rubber strap that connects from under the top to the outer tub. These are bad to break. You need to replace the broken ones before you use the machine again. These keep the outer tub from banging into the inside of the machine causing it to break and leak. When this happens, the tub list for around $160.00 and it take about two hours to replace it. It's cheaper to buy a new machine it the tub breaks. GE's are known for this problem.
