Yes more than likeley drainpipe is blocked. The simplest way is to blow (by mouth) on the outside pipe. This should dislodge any sludge causing the blockage in the drainpipe or drainpan.

My LG Split AC leaks, the water drips from the front right side (inside the room, where it is installed) instead of from the drainage pipe (outside the room). What to do?

Hello, make sure the unit is tilted back somewhat so the Condensate can drain toward the back and not collect up in the front. Also, make sure the drain tube is not obstructed or blocked with sludge.

That pipe is there for two reasons, one is to let you know that you have an issue and that you need to get someone out there to fix it, the other is to release built up pressure in the tank itself, best bet is to go ahead and have a plumber come out and fix or replace the water heater.

Water is dripping from the inside unit and not coming out of the drainage pipe outside

The reason the water is coming out of the unit and not the drainage pipe outside is for a few possible reasons.
1 -the drain pipe is clogged / plugged (due to calcium build up,or frozen)
2- the line is kinked or blocked.
check the drain pipe carefully, there may be obstuctions.

Panasonic CS/CU-A242KR Air conditioner leaking water

OK lets see what we can help you with here. The condensate drain is clogged. There are a couple of ways to clear this clog so lets give it a try. If you know where the drain for the a/c is located outside (usually by the outside condenser unit) it will be a pipe that is just sticking out of the side of the house, if you find it take a wet/dry vac and place it on this pipe and turn the vacuum on and make a seal with your hand this should unclog the drain. If you don't find this pipe outside the house then go to the furnace and you will see at the bottom of the furnace a pipe (PVC) white, this is the drain for the unit inside. Take the wet/dry vac and have it at the ready in the event the clog is further down the line than at the furnace itself now the fittings on this pipe should not be glued together due to the ability to access for this very purpose. Take the pipe apart at one of the fittings and place the wet/dry vac on the end of the pipe towards the furnace and using your hand make a seal and evacuate the line. Do this to both sides since you don't know where the blockage is. If you are unable to separate the pipe at any fitting you will need to cut the pipe and at the spot of the cut you will need to repair it with a sleeve. Remember that the drain pipe is plastic and is made of pvc so you can get a repair coupling from any home improvement store for this repair.
Hope this helped you some

Two ways to clear out the pipe. One way is to take a wet/dry shop vac and **** from the outside drain pipe. The second way is a bit messier. Take an air hose (from a compressor) and purge the air up the drain a few times. Works like a dream!

Water dripping from internal unit of J.B.S. split system air conditioner

Hi
This can be due to three reasons. The water drain pipe is block. Which can be sucked clean with wet/dry vacuum cleaner. The drain pipe behind the unit is not sloping downward away from the unit. Or the coils of the internal could be iced up. If this is the case the unit should be switched of until the ice is completely melted and switch the unit on again. If the copper pipes leaving the the condenser unit outside is starting to freeze up, the unit is short of gas. Call a A/C company to refill the gas and search for possible gas leaks.

WATER LEAKING FROM MY SPLIT TYPE LG AIRCON

1. Do not set the aircon too low temperature in overcast weather, this will cause ice ups and water dripping. Optimal comfort zone temperature is 24c.
2. You need to open the grill cover on the front of the aircon which unclips either end left and right with a finger pressure. You will find two filters which can slide out and should be cleaned. First tap them together to remove dust, then you can wash them with mild soap and cold water.
3. There is the third possibility that an insect has made a nest in the drainpipe. You should look on the outside of the building and locate a plastic drainpipe. You can either blow into this pipe with your mouth or get a blower. This will unblock any restriction in the drainpipe.
Goodluck and ratemeplease.

Leaking water inside

Dear brians933,
If the air conditioner is window / wall mounted please make sure that it is tilted backwards about 3/8 inches. The front side should be upward and the out side portion of the AC downwards. If the drain pipe is blocked the water will leak inside. Please run a stiff wire or thin rod in the drain pipe and then **** the water out please donot blow in, the pipe is getting more blocked this way.
Hope this solve your problem.
Regards,
ramesh22
