SOURCE: Message when I started my computer

Your computer has the My Web Search toolbar. That is Malware and you need to remove it immediately. Restart your computer in Safe Mode and run all your security program scans. If you recently removed My Web Search then this reference was left in your startup folder. If this is the case I suggest you download and install this great free program CCleaner. During the installation uncheck the Yahoo Toolbar or it will also be installed. Once you have it installed, click the Tools Tab and then the Startup tab. If you see the My Web Search toolbar left click it and then click Disable. Now click the Issues Tab and click Scan for Issues. Once it finishes, click Fix Issues. This will remove any remnants of My Web Search if you have removed the program. Post back if you need more assistance.

SOURCE: When starting computor I get

This is not a major problem, though this could cause your windows to be corrupt. This error means a presence of corrupted file ( Kaspersky Internet ).

Most probably you need to repair the windows using windows cd or restore the computer. However, you could try to fix this problem by following the below method :-

Download :-

After run script, attach a Combofix log, please review and follow these instructions carefully.

Before Saving it to Desktop, please rename it to something like 123.exe to stop malware from disabling it.

Now, please make sure no other programs are running, close all other windows and pause Kaspersky (right click the K icon and click pause protection > Choose the
option "resume manually" if still active) until after the scanning and removal process has taken place.

Please double click on the file you downloaded. Follow the onscreen prompts to start the scan.
Once the scanning process has started please DO NOT click on the Combofix window or attempt to use your computer as this can cause the scanning process to stall.
It may take a while to complete scanning and this is normal.

You will be disconnected from the internet and your desktop icons/toolbars will disappear during scanning, do not worry, this is normal and it will be restored after
scanning has completed.

Combofix will create a logfile and display it after your computer has rebooted. Usually located in c:\combofix.txt, please attach it to your next post. Also, please don't
forget to resume the Kaspersky that you paused.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have this error message that pops up when I start my computer "There was a problem starting c:\users\focusconstruction\appdata\roaming\qufvc.dll the specified module could not be found

Go to Search and type MSConfig. At the startup tab uncheck anything relating back to that application. Not to worry if you are not sure. You can uncheck till you find it, or all.

Samsung R700 wont switch on, powers up but nothing hdd or bios lights

Remove the battery, hard drive, optical drive and memory. Install a known-good memory module. If the system starts up and complains about not finding a boot device, or just displays a blinking hyphen, one of the devices you removed is bad. Put in the battery and see if it continues to run. Shut down the system and reinstall one of the memory modules. Try it again. If it still starts up, shut it down, remove the battery again and put in the other memory module in place of the test unit.
Do the same with the remaining components (shut down and remove the battery before installing each part). Save the hard drive for last so you don't have to worry about messing up the operating system with the forced shutdowns. When the system fails to start, you've found your bad part. (If it won't start with all of the parts removed and test memory installed, the logic board has a failed part on it.)
Sometimes removing and reseating a memory module will fix the problem - that would happen automatically with the procedure I just described. Your User's Manual should have the instructions for replacing memory. I'd give you a download link and page number, but the Samsung support website says the SCH-R700 is a cell phone. Use the complete model number from the bar code sticker on the bottom.

While installing windows Xp it says no hard drive found but displays in BIOS

Sounds to me like your harddrive needs a driver for windows to recognize it. You could try this harddrive utility.
