Question about Computers & Internet
My ps3 connects to it wirelessly just fine and i can play online but when i try to connect to it with my xbox 360 with the black wireless adapter it shows my connection passes the test but when i try to log into xbl it says some services are unavailible and i cant get on, what the deal? I'm actually using a aircard for internet access and i have it rigged up to where the netgear puts out a wireless signal and before someone says that wont work, yes it does, ive played killzone 3 for quite some time with that style connection with no issues, i even had my laptop plugged into my 360 and was playing halo reach as well with no issues, only until i tried to hook it up wirelessly, there is no way for me to connect it directly to the router as they are in 2 seperate rooms.
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Weak connection with my xbox 360
The best way to make the wireless connection stable is to do some changes on the wireless settings of the router , like changing its wireless channel to the highest one to avoid any interference on your area.........

try this plug up a line to laptop to modem to check to see if you can get connected if so then make sure you are on the same network and if so then call comcast to help you setup the laptop wireless settings in sound like the settings online doesn't have the laptop enable to accept the laptop

in this case you need to do a port forwarding, which is something like opening the specific ports on router so that xbox will communicate with internet
for that we need to know the ip address of xbox and port numbers for xbox.contact microsoft for knowing the port numbers and their range,so we can do a port forwarding on your router
